The 2008 Beeston BBQ

Last Saturday was our yearly BBQ an example has been loaded onto UTUBE..... it is worth watching!!

<click here> Pablo, Lee and Lucy have SOME talent!

The weather was mixed but mostly dry, the wind was blowing but still 400 of you came to enjoy the event! We started off with a superb BBQ. The food was cooked by the customers we like to call the usual suspects! As usual, as with all the other years they all did a superb job cooking burgers and sausages with onion.... thank you for your help. Nicola was as normal completely at home on the microphone organising us all. Beestons Got Talent, our main event was fantasic and all 18 acts were amazing. The winner was Hugo Ambrose 4 years old who played a passage of Mozart on an organ...well done to you Hugo! Second and third well done also! I entered but fluffed by lines and went blank... well it is hard with 400 hundred people in front of you!! There were dancing troops, singers, juggling act, piano and singing... just to name a few. The judges included Timothy Hay MD of Beeston Regis and Becky Jago of Local TV and Radio fame. On behalf the Management of Beeston Regis Thank you all for entering and taking part. The afternoon finished with a rather drunken... some of you!..... quiz which involved animal noises!!! Once I have the photographs from this years competition I will post them on here with the results.
